I am a 27 -year-old vegetarian born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela. In December 2006 I graduated from FIU with a bachelor’s degree in TV production and a minor in art photography. During a TV production class I met my husband and we married in May of 2007. We have two baby boys, Luke and Noah. They are our treasures. :) I have been a vegetarian for almost 6 years and I believe that keeping a balanced organic diet is the best thing you can do for yourself. I started baking vegan cakes because it was really frustrating for me not to find what I wanted for my kids. MARIANA

As a child, I always helped my grandmother bake the most delicious cakes.  So I decided to call her, who is now 90 years old, to share with me all the family recipes.  She recited all the ingredients for each recipe, one by one, by memory!  I started replacing the eggs, dairy and sugar ingredients in these recipes and started creating my own healthy inventions. I also started experimenting with different kinds of flour to create my gluten free versions. Little by little I have created a full menu of baked goods done with organic ingredients that are delicious ... and healthy !
